Beautiful vintage 1950s Mediterranean seascape, painted in luminous turquoise, aqua and sandy tones and depicting rocky outcrops surrounded by clear blue water. Believed to be the work of a Greek painter and reportedly purchased in Egypt around 1960. A wonderfully fresh and decorative example of mid-century coastal painting, with expressive brushwork and a sun-filled Mediterranean palette.
