Hue is a vintage art gallery based in Bath, established in 2021. We curate original oil paintings sourced across Europe with a particular love for Swedish, French, Italian and Spanish pieces.
Hue brings timeless vintage art into modern interiors. We fill the space between a traditional gallery and everyday living. Our collection is always changing with our ongoing edit of the paintings we can't resist.
We love vintage art for its sustainable nature, its individuality, and the atmosphere it creates in a home.
We work with art lovers, stylists, collectors, art advisors, and interior designers. We offer studio visits, art hire, wedding lists, trade accounts, and worldwide shipping.

About Annalise
After a career pivot from the corporate world, I founded Hue to follow my love of interiors and art. While decorating my home after a move, I began collecting paintings and quickly discovered vintage art. What started as a passion soon became an obsession and my love of sourcing took over.
I source paintings that I love. I’m especially drawn to colourful, textured and expressive oils. Framing is just as important as the artwork itself; while I often keep original vintage frames, I enjoy working with with my local framer to reframe where needed to suit modern interiors.
Alongside sourcing, I love collaborating on pop-ups and welcoming customers to our studio. I live in Bath with my husband, our two daughters and two cats.
